Dental Assistant - TAFE Students Preferred (Start ASAP)

The Opportunity

As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining high levels of infection control.
• Chairside assisting.
• Room preparation.
• Sterilization of instruments.
• Greeting patients with a warm and friendly manner.
• Taking phone calls, responding to queries and booking appointments over the phone.
• Processing accounts, HICAPs claims and taking payments.
• Liaising with referring Dentists and Doctors.
• A wide range of administrative duties.
• Presenting treatment plans, clarifying recommended treatments and booking follow-up appointments.

Ideally, you will possess:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with high-level organisational skills.
