We have weekly meetings and frequent check-ins when needed with managers, mentors and Graduate buddies. There is a great support system in the company.

The managers I have at this point are all very open and supportive while keeps me accountable on all the tasks that was given to me. He also provides a lot of guidance when I am lost and unsure of how to progress with work. They check up on me regularly to make sure I am on the right track which gives me security that I am moving towards the right direction.

Very approachable managers, they care about their staff. Tend to be very approachable and you do not feel like a hierarchy is restricting you from accessing them. They make good mentors, willing to educate and share their knowledge, and are invested in giving employees the opportunity to undertake further study to improve their skills. Performance feedback is given at all levels of duties given, as well as praise. They are realistic about their feedback - they will be frank when constructive criticism is necessary, but they do not shy away from giving praise for a job well done.

I am very satisfied with my current manager, my previous manager was not great at all. My current manager is a great leader in my opinion, he really sponsors good behaviours and work that you want to pursue. He also sets time besides being so busy and is more than willing to guide and mentor me when I am very much unsure where I am going. He's also quick to give praise and recognition, which is so surprising because I am used to people holding back praise.

Relationship with managers is great at Austal. I have a dedicated mentor whom I meet with monthly.

The managers are very approachable and knowledgeable. They are always willing to make time for our questions and help us with any issues we are facing with our work or personal life. We are exposed to their wealth of knowledge and advice on a daily basis. We get praised and recognised for the hard work we put in but also get constructive feedback on how we can improve our performances.

I have generally found my managers to be great. I have an excellent engineering mentor.
