Sustainability at Australian National Audit Office (ANAO)

The anao has sought to reduce its environmental footprint by reducing the size of its new office to only accommodate staff who are expected to be working in office. many staff work at entity premises, meaning a lot of office space is left empty.

Office work and therefore environmental effects are limited to paying the power bill.

We are told not to print too much?

Staff are encouraged to ride to work or use public transport. staff are also encouraged to use less paper and work towards a paperless environment.

The office has moved towards being more paperless.

I am not aware of what the organisation's efforts are in this area.

This is an area we're conscious in, and planning to do more in to improve the reduction of our carbon footprint.

Recycling is important in the office, as in moving to digital workplace.

The company encourages minimising using excess paper and is moving towards a paperless environment but still uses a lot of paper.
