The Opportunity
ASIO is looking to fill positions within the Strategic Industry Partnerships (SIP) Team at the Support Officer AE5 and Project Officer AE6 levels. The SIP team collaborates with strategic industry entities to deliver capabilities and capacity that support ASIO’s technology needs. This team plays a key role in managing relationships between ASIO and key Strategic Industry Partners, facilitating the procurement of technological solutions to achieve ASIO’s objectives.
SIP Support and Project Officers utilize a range of skills, including strategic thinking, negotiation, decision-making, risk management, stakeholder engagement, regulatory awareness, and conflict resolution, to ensure effective relationship management in line with partnership principles.
A merit pool may be created to fill future vacancies that have the same or similar requirements as this position. This merit pool will be valid for up to 18 months.

Location
These positions are located in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Applicants must be willing to

Employment conditions
Employment is under the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1979. Conditions of service are
similar to those applying in the Australian Public Service. We recognise entitlements accrued under the
Public Service Act 1999 and provide for continuation of superannuation under the Commonwealth
schemes. Salary packaging arrangements are also available.
