We’re looking for the next BDO Advisors of the future to join our Business Services Cadetship/Undergraduate Program in January 2026!

Our Business Services team work closely with clients of all types and sizes, in every sector – construction, retail, hospitality, not-for-profit and more – and provide range of personalised accounting, tax and compliance, and advisory services. With advancements in technology, consultancy and advice forms the bulk of services provided by our Accountants, using their technical expert knowledge to help clients grow their business, select the right business structure, minimise their tax liability or forecast their cashflow and plan for the future.
As a Cadet/Undergraduate Accountant, you’ll undertake a variety of tasks, from preparing income tax returns and financial statements to liaising with the ATO and more! You’ll work closely with the team to build a strong foundation of technical accounting and compliance knowledge, developing your skills and experience before you’re introduced to more complex engagements, setting you up for success in the future.

Within this role, you can expect to:
Eligibility
I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
