Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Consultant within our Transfer Pricing Tax team, from January 2025!

Our Transfer Pricing team supports clients to correctly navigate the rules and methods for pricing transactions of intercompany dealings using principles established by the ATO and the OECD Guidelines. The team support clients with compliance work, the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and various consulting work.
What you’ll do:
As a Transfer Pricing Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:
- Prepare Australian local files, Transfer Pricing and policy documentation and benchmarking exercises
- Attend meetings with clients
- Assist with Business Development, including conducting research on clients, their financial performance, and M&A activities
- Provide admin support to the broader team, when necessary.

What you’ll offer:
- You will be in your final year, or have recently completed an Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Finance or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate CA/CPA eligible degree
- Your ability to commence full-time in January 2025.

I am given a fair amount of responsibility, and plenty of support to learn.
Checking emails, liaising with clients to receive information on their R&D activities, writing/drafting activities according to AusIndustry guidelines/ITAA legislation. Calculating financial incentives and meeting with clients.
Admin tasks including note taking, setting up meeting and powerpoint/word templates, writing and research tasks

Pros
The culture in and out of the office is great.
My colleagues are always willing to get out of their way to help me.

Cons
Pay is relatively low, however this is industry-wide.
The graduate program doesn't rotate us through all the service lines.
Some managers are great and give constructive feedback. Others do not provide you with proper instructions.
Dishwashers are small... toilets are not flushed... desk are most of the time dirty.
Could include more women, however this is the industry.
