Culture at BHP

Did not get a chance to work with everyone in the team but as work progress will get a chance. Teammates are supportive and friendly. Moreover, in the office we don't have designated desk so every day we are rotating as per availability of desk and we have new colleagues around from different teams and get a chance to talk to them, most of them are friendly and welcoming.

Like a family

Respectful environment, encouraging diversity. The company has some initiatives to strengthen this culture. Regarding after hours, I only see a few people working extra hours. I think it's a one-off thing, I don't think it's something the company encourages.

WORK CULTURE IN THE TEAMS I HAVE WORKED IN SO FAR HAS BEEN GREAT. EVERYRONE IS VERY RESPECTFUL, EAGER TO TEACH/HELP EACH OTHER AND ESPECIALLY NEW STARTERS.

Generally acceptable. Culture is dependent on the specific team one works for. Some teams are better at socializing after hours than others.

Good team and work environment

The culture really differs from team to team. Sometimes it can be difficult with work with various other department who doesn't align with the similar values to the business.

Leaders in my team foster an open & supportive environment where we ask questions, bounce ideas off of each other, and seek for better ways of working. Despite the team working across Australia, and a mixture of at home & in office we still have a positive atmosphere in the team where we are able to discuss all matters. The expertise in the team is great, and everyone is very approachable and willing to assist where they can. This extend to when taking leave we are able to cover each other so we may take rest when needed.

Site culture is good

In the office everyone is supportive of each other and helps each other out. They like to find out about each other's interests and stuff happening in the life and also like cracking jokes every now and then. After hours, some of them would have dinner together at camp or do some sort of activity once in a while.

The company culture is great. It's built on a foundation of mutual respect and support, which is evident in the way colleagues interact with each other. There's a strong sense of community, where everyone is approachable and willing to lend a hand or share knowledge.

Great culture both at work and outside of work. Very friendly, welcoming people.

The culture is dependent on the team and shift that you are on. I have found people generally very helpful and supportive.
