As a graduate only few tasks we have to do solely, generally there are routine task to do and few individual task set out for me to complete. I am exposed to different area of work as well.

In my role as a GTF Engineer, I am doing & reviewing redline markups, reviews various electrical calculations. Provide technical guidance in various projects including technical queries.

I support the study team of a major project. I help with engineering design reviews, value optimization identification, risk management, and stakeholder management.

I work as a reliability engineer at South Flank. Interacting with the front-line teams to combat breakdowns and continuously improve the plant.

Creating drill patterns, creating blast packs, creating timing plans for the patterns, interacting with the crew daily & other admin tasks throughout the day.

Helping with completion of projects.

I receive clear tasks and projects to work on through the SNOW system, and plenty of support from everyone in my team. Day-to-day responsibilities include working on my current projects, graduate development logbooks, and routine tasks (safety review, timesheets, emails). I currently have a weekly 15mins 1-on-1 catch-up with my lead where I can discuss anything on my plate, and a fortnightly 1hr catch-up with a senior engineer to delve into any technical roadblocks on my tasks.

Make sure control system and remote telemetry engineering projects are delivered successfully.

I work on maintenance plans and strategies, creating and improving work instructions and working on improvement projects for the ore handling system

PowerBI dashboard development, some logistics stuff

Governance of MoCs. Design reviews ensuring compliance to the Australian and company standards.

Graduate Asset Projects, training with the delivery team.

Reliability engineer, ensuring equipment on site are readily available and enforce improvement projects on site to ensure equipment arent failing

Projects and role operated tasks

In my role, I primarily focus on data analysis and problem-solving, applying various statistical and machine learning techniques to interpret data and provide insights. My day-to-day responsibilities involve collaborating with different teams to understand their data needs, developing models to analyze data, and communicating findings in an accessible way. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn, which is something I really enjoy about my job.

Data analysis, fault finding, improvement projects around debottlenecking.

As a part of a graduate program, I have the great benefit of learning a variety of different roles. My day-to-day responsibilities often include engagement with people of other teams either chasing information or keeping in contact about progressing projects. In my current role I am currently getting to draw up and design drill and blast plans. I love getting to see the mine in a 3D space. It is also a part of the role to get out into the field regularly with those in execution to better understand how the mine actually functions in reality and not just in the ideal design state.
