Management at BHP

Managers are super busy and they barely get time for a graduate but whenever I get a chance to have discussion with them try to get inputs on my development and progress. However, I have been provided with a buddy as a mentor for doubts and problems.

Very much assessable. Whenever we need to talk with my 1 up, I only need to check his calendar and book a meeting and talk or just meet him and talk.

I have a regular 1:1 with my managers, including 3up and 4up

Approachable management

Most of the managers are really great mentors. Credit is given where due

Great manager who have time for their teams, whether it is a personal matter or just needing feedback on work issue. They are supportive of development opportunities and willing to assign team budget to these.

Managers are always accessible and they are good mentors and provide good feedback. They schedule 1 on 1 conversations with me monthly to look at my performance and to see if theres any help I need or anything I would like to do. They also regularly check up on me to see if I need help with any tasks I have to ensure I dont get stuck

They are really good emotional supporters, being really supportive. However, in terms of work training, it would be better if it's a bit more structured

Really happy with the current manager who goes out of the way to help and increase skills of everyone on the team. Really understanding and considerate.
