Who wouldn't want more money right? I think the pay is quite good, plus there are so many benefits like $2,000 a year which you can spend on anything which will improve your quality of life - isn't that cool?

Very competitive base salary for a graduate role with additional stock options. Additionally, there's yearly salary reviews to make sure that employees pay matches their growth and impact in Canva, whilst taking into account external factors (i.e. inflation, market conditions, etc)

Very fortunate to have a high base salary, sign-on/relocation bonus. Also, we get stock options currently valued at about our base salary, spread over 4 years. Only small gripe is base salary for Data Analysts is about 10% lower than for Software Engineers but this is consistent across all levels and companies.

The pay is getting outpaced by many other companies and is too low at the moment. I know most grads I talk with are unsatisfied with the pay. There are no bonuses, which is also a downside compared to other companies, which reduces the feeling of achievement and acknowledgement of the work you have done.

There is not a lot of pay transparency at Canva, and compared to other companies that offer similar roles, Canva's offering is a fair bit lower than theirs (e.g. Google / Atlassian).

Expenses every month for all the activity clubs that you join (team bonding session). These include clubs such as videogames, running, Messina, etc clubs that you can join in Canva. Every month you can reimburse expenses for the benefits of your mental health or anything in general.

Clubs budget that give free participation in events from sports to food to random niche interests. We get a relocation sign on bonus of about 10k, which is much more than needed to move from Auckland to Sydney as one person.

Club events are all pretty much subsidised, so lots of events, like marvel movies, food clubs, boba club, ice cream club etc .

We get $20 per person per month for club events, so you get to participate in various social activities - some of them end up being within the $20 budget, others allow you to do them at a discounted price. We also get $2000 a year (known as "Vibe & Thrive Allowance") which allows us to spend it on virtually anything that improves our mental, spiritual, or physical health & wellbeing or on WFH space. We also get to spend $100/person for a celebration (completing a team goal). There is also a $5000 relocation bonus if you move to Sydney from another city.
