CitiPower and Powercor is an Australian electricity distribution company that operates throughout western Victoria, and the western suburbs of Melbourne. The company owns and maintains power lines, substations, and street lights and also manages the largest electricity distribution network in Victoria. Powercor is 51% owned by Cheung Kong Holdings and 49% by Spark Infrastructure which also owns Citipower, which maintains the city of Melbourne's CBD network, and SA Power Networks, which maintains the South Australian network.

Their program is challenging, rewarding, and structured to provide you with the right tools, skills, and hands-on experience for a successful career in accounting and finance. It is also designed to assist you with achieving your professional accreditation. The program itself will have a variety of rotations across the different finance streams where you will have the opportunity to get heavily involved in each team, experiencing the key requirements, goals, and tasks associated with each area. These rotations include activities associated with their key financial deliverables including monthly reporting, budgeting, statutory accounts, tax returns, and their regulatory compliance requirements.
They are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic, innovative, eager to learn, and genuinely want to add value to their business and the community they work in. Equipped with the skills and hands-on experience developed through this program, Graduate Accountants will be well-placed to pursue career development opportunities within the Finance team that best match their interests, skillset, and business needs.
CitiPower and Powercor's training program includes opportunities tailored to their business and operations. It also includes structured courses for apprentices and trainees, graduate programs in engineering and information technology, leadership development, and developing new skills. All of their team members are encouraged to work with their direct manager to identify areas of interest.
