As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you will demonstrate your ability to get creative and innovative in finding extraordinary talent through unconventional means. You will play an integral role in partnering closely with the business and talent team to identify, attract, assess and hire exceptional people for highly competitive roles at CrowdStrike. You will…
- Directly source hard to find and niche candidates utilising creativity through LinkedIn Recruiter, internal and external networks and other sites to perform Boolean searches.
- Compose compelling email campaigns that highlight the exciting sales career opportunities and incredible culture at CrowdStrike.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Focus on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity through exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Identify and assess a strong and diverse candidate pool.
- Have a strong attention to detail while operating with a sense of urgency.
- Liaise closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand requirements of position and function.
- Gain valuable training and insights into a high performing, fast paced, global talent acquisition team at a growing organisation.
What You’ll Need..
- Enrolled on your Second Year at University (or second last year if your degree is more than 3 years)
- Working towards a degree in Business Human Resources. Organisational Development, social sciences or related field.
- Experience with customer service and communications
- Proficient in a Mac environment, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to learn new things, innovate, and collaborate across a team and organisation

I provide operational assistance for both departments that I work for. I liaise with key global stakeholders for project work. I offer administrative support, including tracking participation, updating documents and ensuring timely follow up on action items.

Pros and cons of working at CrowdStrike
Pros
The culture is super welcoming and there are many opportunities to grow in roles. Also has emphasis on working remotely.
Great supportive environment, lots to learn and great team.
Networking opportunities with getting to know such talented individuals. Opportunities such as the conferences are also amazing in career development and learning how to make connections with each other.
CrowdStrike is very flexible in accommodating to my university schedule. They have changed my working days to accommodate better to me. Hours are very flexible especially in being in a hybrid role
Having a mentor throughout the whole internship has also been a highlight in always having direct support.
Cons
Not having a Melbourne office.
Working remotely does prove some difficulty as an intern when exposure and connections is a big aspect within the role.
Lack of one office space as it is split across two levels which prevents from networking and collaboration with other departments.
A long hiring process.
As an Intern with a 6-month contract, there is no guarantee for career progression and promotional activities.
