Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.

The culture is good, people communicate positively and effectively with each other. The company hosts events throughout the year to encourage team building.
Graduate, Melbourne - 11 Oct 2023
Inviting, bubbly and supportive.

Great environment, everyone is equal, always down for a laugh. Plenty of office events and after work drinks, a very inclusive environment.

Lots of social events, positive environment supportive and made lots of good friends

Diversified, motivated, encouragement, open to new ideas, embracive.

Hierarchy structure, however, the culture is very inclusive and close-knit. Empathy and teamwork is what I admire the most about the client I am currently placed with. Not only do they focus on your professional progression, but they are also open if any personal issues need to raised too.
Midlevel, Sydney - 24 Feb 2021
Company culture is fairly relaxed during hours and people are able to bring up ideas freely. Work culture after hours is non-existent (possibly due to covid) aside from trainees organising something outside of work hours together.
Graduate, Sydney - 20 Feb 2021
Friendly amongst co-workers during the workday but not a huge after-hour work culture at the moment (probably covid).

Surrounded by other great trainees. Trainers are good and care about your professional development. Sometimes the culture can feel a bit relaxed. Other times it can feel very strict. Social events bring everyone closer.

Culture among trainees is very supportive both in and after hours. Pantry meeting is very useful in connecting trainees and the internal staff. Company culture feels very strict and disciplined, not reflective of real working environment e.g. HSBC, KPMG, ANZ culture lacks autonomy.
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Sep 2019
Everyone is very polite and positive; the trainers want the best for the trainees and help them land placements with clients. The company is broken down into an account management team responsible for contacting clients who will take on the trainees, a recruitment team responsible for hiring new trainees, trainers training the different courses, and trainees themselves. Cooperation is always productive, and trainees generally get on and work well together.

The culture amongst consultants was pretty good.

I don't like the word culture because it inherently implies that people can't fit in. FDM is very inclusive and teamwork as well as socialising is encouraged.

The company promotes a 'Work Hard, Play Hard' culture, in which you're heavily rewarded for the amount you put in, but the company is rather process-driven, as opposed to outcome-driven - the 'Work Hard Play Hard' culture is promoted through extensive social events/activities that are organised including work drinks, games nights, etc.

Work hard during hours and kick back, have drinks with colleagues on Friday evenings.
