What does the job look like
As a Transport Allocator you will play a crucial role in our retail transport team making sure that our customer gets their deliveries on time every time. With your exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multitask you will support our team by allocating, route planning and dispatching deliveries across Melbourne metropolitan areas. You will be required to meet Linfox's employment criteria which will include but not be limited to a criminal history check and full medical with a drug and alcohol test.
I undertake various roles, from accepting tenders, moving them onto linfox systems, balancing out fleet management with the supplier and linfox requirements, operations tasks varying from helping drivers with load sheets, toolbox talks, safety checks and inspection, daily driver log book inspection.
Tracking costs and revenue, invoicing customers, reporting daily, weekly, and monthly stats both internally and externally. Pricing new work within the transport space. tracking trailer hire and de-hire status.
Review kpis, analyse rate cards and contract asset registers, also time and motion data.
