This exciting role empowers you to contribute to due diligence, valuation, and corporate advisory engagements. You'll be at the forefront of assisting clients by conducting thorough investigations and delivering actionable data, enabling them to make well-informed decisions. 

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to the following:

Due diligence:

  • Assisting with due diligence investigations on behalf of vendors or potential acquirers;
  • Assisting with investigating accountant (IPO) due diligence investigations for businesses seeking to list on the ASX;
  • Preparing components of financial due diligence reports;
  • Analysing financial information of target entities in order to conclude on quality of earnings;

Valuations:

  • Performing research into appropriate comparable companies and transactions; 
  • Drafting parts of the requisite valuation reports;
  • Preparing and reviewing financial forecast models;
  • Collecting, analysing and interpreting information on the financial standing, cost structures and trading effectiveness of organisations; and
  • Assistance with corporate advisory engagements as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant University qualifications;
  • Is seeking to become a CA;
  • Strong report writing skills;
  • Interested in analysing and challenging financial data;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to be adaptable to meet individual client needs; and
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
