Pros and cons of working at PKF Melbourne

Pros

  • Amazing facilities, enjoyable to come to work every day to.

  • Camaraderie. Everyone is quite young so it's hard not to relate to anyone. Social events are good. Clean building.

  • Various social/work events providing the opportunity to meet new people and expand existing network.

  • The best aspect of working at our company is the exceptional environment cultivated by our dedicated team. The atmosphere is incredibly supportive and collaborative, with colleagues who are always willing to lend a hand. When it comes to teaching and sharing knowledge, the approach is remarkably structured and formal. This ensures that everyone can learn and grow effectively within their roles. The blend of a friendly yet professional setting makes it a truly remarkable place to work, where personal and professional development is actively encouraged and facilitated.

  • Good culture, great exposure to different work types, provided with responsibility from the get-go.

Cons

    • Induction was not too great.

    • Complexity of work

    • Construction work from moving into a brand-new office

    • The most challenging aspect of working at our company has been the transition from a hospitality setting to a corporate environment. The difference in cultural environments required a period of adjustment, as the pace, expectations, and daily interactions vary significantly between the two fields. However, this challenge has also provided valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.
