Division Overview - Tax Consulting

The tax team and the advice they provide to clients often work hand-in-hand with corporate groups enabling seamless support. We are well placed to assist clients in navigating the acquisition, divestment, indirect tax processes efficiently and effectively with a view to mitigating tax risks and enhancing opportunities. 

We offer tailored solutions to each transaction to balance the practical priorities of our clients with the need to investigate and manage tax exposure. 

Position Summary 

Our tax graduates begin their professional careers assisting the senior accountants and manager in relation to the tax compliance work including preparation of the tax return, undertaking income and indirect tax review and tax advice. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in a range of diverse engagements ranging from compliance for enterprises to assisting with multinational advisory with the expectation to broaden your skill set.
  • Working in a team environment and delivering value to clients
  • Develop internal relationships with business stakeholders and external relationships with advisers/ clients you will be required to work with
  • Assist with tax audits, reviews and investigations by revenue authorities
  • Research and investigate tax concepts for tax advices 

About You

  • A Business, Commerce or Law Degree or Masters of Tax 
  • Qualify to study for CA or Tax Institute
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • The most challenging aspect of working at our company has been the transition from a hospitality setting to a corporate environment. The difference in cultural environments required a period of adjustment, as the pace, expectations, and daily interactions vary significantly between the two fields. However, this challenge has also provided valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth.
