My Team Lead is not very approachable and can make the work environment unpleasant, however I have heard that other Team leads within the company are much more flexible and accommodating. I have mentors in my fellow team members who have shared feedback, praise and recognition for my work which has been very useful. Performance feedback in my position is harder to come by.

Yes, Saab Australia at least in Maritime Software Engineering facilitates this with daily meetings and scheduled catch-ups.

My senior consultant is EXCELLENT! In all the above, honestly one of the best I've ever had, if he ever leaves I'll be devastated. Program Manager is a good human being, is approachable, and has a clear vision for the team and the roles after the graduate program.

My managers have been excellent so far. They range in style from friendly to formal, but all are polite, kind, and understanding. Inter-team communication has often suffered in my department, but intra-team has always been open and supportive.

The managers i have are accessible. they make good mentors. they approach internal communication quite fairly.

Great mentors both professionally and personally. They approach communication well and are open to process changes or provide adequate feedback if things are not possible to change. They have provided appropriate praise and recognition when required.

Sometimes decisions dont filter down to those who carry them out very well leading to not really knowing whats going on. However, more often than not asking someone in a managerial role about something will get you an answer.

Mostly pretty good, but varies from team to team. In general managers are easy to talk to and very accommodating of your needs. We set performance goals each year, and our supervisors provide feedback then (as well as during the year).

Very happy with supervisors so far. Super supportive. There are formal processes to track goals and initiate feedback, but there has been chances to do this informally as well. Also have a mentor within the company, organised through the graduate program. There are also soon start 'coffee roulette' so that employees can network within the company. There are some examples of rewards, often dinners or company merch.

Interaction with direct supervisor is daily. All supervisors are very approachable and helpful.
