About the Job 

As a Graduate Engineer at Technip Energies you will experience 2 years working across multiple projects, with opportunities ranging from high level conceptual studies, front end engineering developments, detailed design, construction and commissioning. You will have the opportunity to begin your career within a department that oversees a broad range of scopes within established and emerging industries.

Key responsibilities will see you:

  • Undertaking relevant discipline engineering tasks as required by project and tenders.
  • Originate engineering deliverables on standard relevant discipline engineering design to meet project, statutory and Technip Energies Group rules to project schedule.
  • Instruct Drafting Team on relevant discipline engineering drafting requirements for projects.
  • Where applicable, participate in safety studies and consider safety in design in all discipline engineering activities.
  • Attend meetings with Clients, Suppliers and / or Consultants to assist on technical issues relating to relevant discipline engineering.

About you

  • You’re due to complete your relevant engineering degree by July 2024, or have graduated within the last 2 years with a tertiary degree in a relevant engineering discipline, that is suitable to qualify for membership of Engineers Australia as a Professional Engineer
  • You have Australian full working rights.
  • You strive to continuously raise standards, are innovative, solution-oriented and thrive on problem solving.
  • You’re adaptable and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
  • You’re committed and proactive, have a strong sense of collaboration, able to make decisions and learn from every situation.

Pros

  • The vibe is good and the people are lovely - we also do some cool work.

  • The people in the company are very friendly, supportive and helpful.

  • Extremely friendly and flexible working environment. Great team of senior engineers always willing to help me and encourage me to develop skills in multiple areas.

  • As I am new here, the welcoming and supportive environment has been the best thing so far, along with the positive workplace culture.

  • The independence and accountability for your own work. You are given opportunities to challenge yourself and undertake learning yourself. Technically challenging and unique work with lots of opportunities to learn.

Cons

    • The graduate program was not structured as much, we worked on which ever scope that need people to do.

    • Never had a bad experience with this company.

    • Slow computer/VPN when working from home.

    • I have no complaints regarding working at T.EN so far.

    • Lack of structure in the graduate program.
