Our network of Pharmacies covers over 100 locations in QLD, NSW, VIC and WA - we can offer internships in all locations  speak to us about your preferred area. 

We have strong experience of working with Intern Training Programs and we’ll do our best to support you with your assignments, exams, and practical contact hours. You’ll even have the chance to supplement your theoretical training with real-world skills.

We’re big on investing in our team with ongoing education. We’ll help you stay up-to-date with the latest pharmacy developments so that you can give our patients service that’s second to none.

Ongoing education & training include:

• Pharmacy business insights to show you how things work from a commercial perspective.
• Management/HR training to equip you with vital people management and HR skills 
• Training days where you can join other interns to collaborate on assessments and exam preparation.
• Exam training days that take you through previous examples to familiarise you with the assessment.
• Placement in different stores that can give you the chance to gain a different experience and round out your education.
• An excellent support structure that gives you access to pharmacist-led mentorship and some of the best in-store preceptor pharmacists.

About you: 

• You are in your final year of study in Pharmacy. 
• Ideally, you have some experience working in a community pharmacy
• You are friendly, engaging, have a deep sense of caring for patients and are community minded.
• You have effective communication skills, attention to detail and team player ability
• You are committed to your ongoing personal and professional development.
• And most importantly, you are passionate about pharmacy

During your internship you will focus on:

• Dispensing of prescriptions using FRED dispense
• Counsel patients with the optimal and safe use of medication
• Assist with customer queries
• Process dispensary orders and assist in maintaining dispensary inventory
• Oversee activities in the dispensary and front of shop to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy
