Junior Project Accountant (Rolling Intake)

Your role

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Supports the end-to-end payroll process for the Hunter Power Project
• Conducts detailed reconciliation of pay runs and month-end payroll entitlements
• Analyzes payroll data to provide insights and initiate process improvements
• Assists Finance and P&C teams in ensuring data integrity in SAP
• Adheres to health and safety systems and internal financial policies
• Performs general ad hoc duties and fosters cooperation among project finance personnel

About you

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Be currently studying or part-qualified in commerce/accounting
• Have experience in project payroll, labour rates, and site-based roles
• Possesses strong skills in ERP systems like SAP and Excel
• Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Show initiative, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
• Hold a driver's license
