Pros & Cons
The flexibility, understanding and openness across the department is amazing.
We have three rotations, and on top of this I have had the opportunity to work in three secondments to broaden my understanding.
The culture here is very good. They emphasize supporting us in our learning, growth, and development.
The leadership are very nice, doesn’t appear too hierarchical.
The flexibility to work from home and work-life balance.
Sometimes processes are a bit outdated, and there is a lack of synchronisation across all areas of the department.
Pay should be higher and more in line with other departments, some teams work harder than others.
The work can be a bit slow or boring at times.
The Alinga offices feel 30-40 years out of date and the energy and style feels quite suffocating.
The Graduate Certificate in Public Administration/Policy and Data... the units themselves are really poorly run and do not feel applicable to our work.
