Working Hours at IGO Limited

the company is very flexible when it comes to hours and WFH. This is a big bonus for me, especially with being sick, etc.

Currently my offices hours are a normal and sustainable amount. However, I have found the amount of office hours worked varies considerably between different teams I have been in. Certain teams have a strong "presenteeism" culture, with perceived pressure to do longer hours.

Adjusting to a 12 hour day was a struggle at first but I got used to it.

I work 8 days on, 6 days off. The days I work, I work 12 hour days. My work is reasonably flexible. It is really easy to take leave but since it is FIFO work, you do have to plan a bit. Starting and leaving work early is pretty easy, as long as you get your hours in.

Typical 40-hour work week although as an intern, there is not much work to go around and sometimes feel underutilized and bored.

Standard for FIFO, really like how the flight times are a bit more accomodating (leave Perth at 8am and return by 5pm)
