In this Junior Agile Capability Consultant role, you will:

  • Work closely with the Head of Agile Coaching to package up the key changes in the Agile Model
  • Drive improvement throughout the business by helping the coaching community implement and embed the evolved agile ways of working, whilst also refining some of the existing methodologies.
  • Support the ongoing development and expansion of dedicated Product Owners, ways of working content, standards and the standardised capability model.
  • Co-design continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the end-to-end delivery process and tooling environment to drive and embed a business outcomes-based approach.
  • Input into development of the WOW model strategy, particularly how it relates to PO Skills, training and certification, WOW playbooks and flow.
  • Work in a collaborative, fluid team that tackles complex business problems.

What you will bring:

  • Experience contributing to a transformation and understanding of how to execute change in a large, complex organisation at scale.
  • Exposure to operating model change through agile transformation.
  • Exceptional skills in crafting messaging and content to communicate the evolution of Agile.
  • A background in business evolution or transformation especially within the banking space.
  • Agile knowledge would be favourable.
  • A positive attitude as well as the ability to multitask and adapt to new environments with ease.

Pros

  • Amazing Culture and People. Employees are valued and recognised for the hard work that they put in. The company has a very supportive environment and has many different learning and development opportunities available."

  • Flexible working (WFH), emphasis on work-life balance. Big organisation so lots of areas to get involved in and explore.

  • Great learning opportunities - 3-4 rotations depending on your dream to get exposure to different parts of the bank. Good work-life balance.

  • The graduate culture is amazing and everyone is very social and happy to catch up.

Cons

    • Sometimes we have to navigate lots of old tech and systems.

    • Because itโ€™s such a large organization, it can be tricky to know the ins and outs of what each function does, but that comes with time, experience and exposure.

    • Sometimes have to work long hours.

    • There were lots of stages of the interview process

    • We donโ€™t get any bonuses. Apparently they used to but they stopped a few years back.
