Our internship is a 9-week program that runs from December to February (Donโt worry trimester students, we got you!)
Every project and team is different but our focus on using data for good remains the same โ whether weโre helping improve the way clients serve their customers, analysing data from banking transactions or supporting covid vaccine rollouts through analytics. Our work spans a range of industries and you will be working in one of the industries to make your mark.
As a Software Engineering Intern at Quantium, youโll get to work with one of our many teams and not only have an opportunity to make an impact but youโll also get to see what itโs like to work as an Engineer at Quantium.
If you are keen to do a Backend-focused internship, youโll be utilising a variety of tools, technologies, and libraries such as microservices, hosted on the cloud. If your interest lies in Frontend technologies, you may be working with a JavaScript and React stack. Either way, thereโll be plenty of learning โ in both technical and soft skills.
Along the way you will have plenty of support through check-ins with your project team, mentoring by our Engineers and Analyst career conversations with the Graduate Academy team and connecting with your fellow interns.
Upon completing your internship youโll have a clearer picture of what it is like working as an Engineer and Data Analyst at Quantium, experience delivering a tool/solution for our business and great memories of having fun and working with interesting tech.
Apply for our intern program and kick-start your career with us!
My day-to-day responsibilities are limited to my skill level, but I enjoy the work that I do. I have enough to keep me busy, but not too much that I'm overloaded.

The work culture is fantastic. The work is interesting, and the people are really supportive. The work-life balance is amazing. I love sharing that I work at this company, and I'm proud to be here.
Company culture, interesting work, job perks, clear career advancement pathways, study assistance.
The people are really great - such a young vibrant environment.
Socialising is easy and I really enjoy working at my company.
It's extremely flexible, my schedule is what I want it to be. I'm also strongly encouraged to have a good work-life balance.
The pay isn't as competitive as other companies. I'm earning almost half the amount as my peers doing similar work.
Non-standardised experience/remuneration.
There has been inconsistent work and for a while not much to do and I wasn't learning as much as I'd have liked.
It's quite an ambiguous career progression post-rolling off the grad program.
The pay isn't very competitive compared to the market.
