What youโ€™ll be involved in:

As a Quantium Graduate Platform Engineer, you'll get a broad introduction to a range of engineering disciplines. From Git to Agile, we commit to giving you the frameworks, experience, education and exposure you need to jump start your career.

Platform engineers focus on building robust, performant and secure infrastructure, networks and other environments that our whole team relies on to deliver solutions.

  • The 12-month graduate program is part of a broader Advance @ Quantium (continuous support, Learning & Development and events). Our award-winning graduate program is an accelerator!
  • On-the-job training and development
  • Ongoing support, mentoring and leadership through your buddy, team and the Graduate Academy team

  • Learning and development programs to build your professional and personal skills

Pros and cons of working at Quantium

Pros

  • The work culture is fantastic. The work is interesting, and the people are really supportive. The work-life balance is amazing. I love sharing that I work at this company, and I'm proud to be here.

  • Company culture, interesting work, job perks, clear career advancement pathways, study assistance.

  • The people are really great - such a young vibrant environment.

  • Socialising is easy and I really enjoy working at my company.

  • It's extremely flexible, my schedule is what I want it to be. I'm also strongly encouraged to have a good work-life balance.

Cons

    • The pay isn't as competitive as other companies. I'm earning almost half the amount as my peers doing similar work.

    • Non-standardised experience/remuneration.

    • There has been inconsistent work and for a while not much to do and I wasn't learning as much as I'd have liked.

    • It's quite an ambiguous career progression post-rolling off the grad program.

    • The pay isn't very competitive compared to the market.
