Our Stockland story
For more than 70 years, Stockland have been creating and curating communities with people at the heart of the places we create.
As one of Australia’s largest diversified property groups, we are building on our legacy, helping more Australians achieve the dream of home ownership and creating places and spaces full of energy, soul and life - from residential and land lease communities, through to retail town centres, workplaces and logistics assets.
Our purpose - a better way to live - is central to everything we do.
Our culture
Together, we create the future. It’s a big statement that reflects what we do every day. We are excited about what the future holds. The future is reflected in what we do, how we work each day, and demonstrates the impact our work has on communities and our country.
This is brought to life by our employees and guided by our values. Stockland focuses on four key values: community, accountability, respect and excellence (CARE).
A career with us means you’ll work alongside people with diverse expertise who share the same goal of making a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate – a commitment that is at the heart of what we do.
Across all our job families and different locations, our team members are united in their belief that there is a better way to live.
Our Employee Value Proposition is testament to how we’re creating the future.
We're driven to deliver, sustainably
We believe we have both the opportunity and the responsibility to create the right balance of social, environmental and economic conditions for our communities, customers and investors now and in the future. Our sustainability strategy integrates with our business strategy and priorities, providing a better way to deliver shared value for all stakeholders.
We have a long and proud history of contributing to local communities across Australia. Our numerous giving, volunteering and community development activities reflect this commitment. Our Giving and Volunteering program provides a wide range of opportunities for employees to get involved and contribute to the communities in which we operate.
The Stockland CARE Foundation, established in 2015, also provides a tangible expression of our commitment. The CARE Foundation amplifies our support of Australian communities by directing our investment to strategic partners in the areas of wellbeing and education; boosts existing opportunities for employee giving and volunteering efforts; and supports our overarching sustainability strategy
We collaborate to grow and succeed

Our people also benefit from enjoying a range of experiences and opportunities to grow their career through collaboration.
We find flexible ways to work
We encourage our people to work flexibly in the way that works best for them. We understand that our people work best when their work and non-work lives are working well together. We also recognise that no two lives are the same. We support flexible work arrangements so our people can train for a marathon, spend time with their children, play sport, or manage their 'life admin'. Our flexible work approach support people to work from an office or asset, home or another location, with clear guidelines and objectives to help people navigate the new world of flexible work.
